There are a couple of bootlegs out there:
One called Kaleidoscopic Harmonies - this one pre-dates Spooky. The sound
isn't very good, and some moron in the audience has a whistle that is blown
frequently.
The other one is from Lollapalooza '92. It was recorded in Florida, and
while the sound is a little better than the first one I mentioned, it's not
all that pleasant to listen to.
There's a double-disc CD of Glastonbury '92 called In a Field of Their Own
which has a live recording of "Starlust"; the Breeders also do "Iris" on it.
Makes me wish they'd put out the entire Lush set coupled with the Breeders'
one.
I have a bootleg VHS of a show from Texas on the Split tour. I can't
remember what kind of audio quality it had. I've always thought of just
making an audio CD from it, but I've never got around to it.
You're right though, some good-quality live Lush would be most welcome. I
have some great memories of seeing them in '92, '94, and '96.
