4AD-L has been around since 1988, I think this is one of the oldest
mailing lists around. Does anybody outthere has the actual "state51"
contact information to let them know how inconsiderate they are
leaving the mailing list as it is today?

Other option could be to create another 4AD-l on another free groups
web page. 

Pardon me for being so frustrated, but I do believe that the "-l"
appendix is very important. 

4AD-l was important to me 15 years ago and I don't want to see it
die.

(I'll try to create another list myself other than Yahoo! groups and
I'll let you know about it, if you're interested).
