oh, pitchfork. the day after they said MBV was reuniting too. ha ha ha ha ha. i was half expecting them to say J&MC or chapterhouse reuniting later that week... yes, frank black has done jam sessions or whatever with the other pixies band members... except for kim deal. pitchfork does have a habit of taking backhanded comments and turning them into huge news stories. like that whole "elephant 6 is dead" thing. feh. of course they stole this story from NME, who also is guilty of doing similar things what's really fun is finding something on another site/message board and posting it to the pitchfork message board, and seeing it end up a headline news story a few days later! like when i posted about the vsnares 'nymphomatriarch' album when people first started talking about it on the planet µ board, or when i read about the microphones "breaking up" on tinymixtapes.com...
