What do we want to do here? HighOnSound is an idea that we have had 
for over a year now. It isn't just a website, it isn't just a cliché. 
It is a state of awareness. A way to live. HighOnSound is who we are. 
Who we hope everyone is. The idea of the site comes along the lines 
of this. A place for those who wish it to be theirs are given space 
to let their ART shine through. Whether you're an artist, a writer, a 
poet, photographer. Whatever your ART is we want to provide you a 
place to show your art to all those people who are 'HighOnSound'. To 
this end HighOnSound is a community, a large ever-expanding group of 
individuals whose energy and power to be are united to form a 
community of like-minded individuals. With our thoughts, abilities 
and ART united there will be little that we are not. 

So the thoughts many of you have all said are really what I ask of 
you all. What is your ART? Are you a writer? Do you fancy yourself to 
be a great reviewer of shows or CDs? Interviews your thing? Painting? 
Photography? Graphic design? Have the skills to bring to light a 
better design, more professional looking HighOnSound? What can we do 
to let you do your art? I know my art. My ART is organization, 
promoting, assembling and manifesting opportunity. Hopefully my ART 
will allow your ART to shine through! We are spread across the globe, 
but with the right will and the right people we can be one. Share 
your ART and meet everyone along the way.
