Weekend Jams

Hi folks, hope you all enjoyed the official start of summer!

It's a busy, music filled weekend for me and my compadres.  Here are the
events happening this weekend - hope to see you at some of them.

Tomorrow, Friday May 30, the Cravin' Dogs will be debuting at Clydes of Chevy
Chase.  It's our first time there, there's no cover, and we'll be jamming out
from 10pm to 1am.

Then on Saturday, May 31, the U-Liners will be playing a set at the Washington
Folk Festival in Glen Echo MD.  We're playing on the Potomac Palisades Stage
from 4pm - 4:45pm.  Of course, it's all ages and free!

Then on Sunday June 1, the U-Liners will be part of an all-star cast playing a
fundraiser for Democratic candidate for Maryland governor Heather Mizeur at
the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt MD.  We play from 5:15-6pm and will be joined
by the outstanding Nate Lavy substituting on drums.

(Throw in a studio session Saturday morning at the fabulous Recording Arts,
and it's gonna be a busy bass boy weekend!)

Keep an eye out for more gigs later on in the summer, including the July 12
U-Liners tribute to Woody Guthrie at the Takoma Park Civic Center, the always
grate [sic] tribute to Jerry Garcia featuring the U-Liners and John K Band at
the Hamilton in DC on Friday, August 1st (Jerry's birthday *and* 801 day).
