May gigs

Hey friends!  Hope you're enjoying this little island of perfect weather
between the no-snow-but-still-cold of the winter's tail, and the mosquito-soup
of summer.

A couple of upcoming May gigs to keep an eye out for.

This Saturday, May 2nd, the U-Liners return to our favorite Mexican
restaurant, El Golfo.  We'll be joined by special guests Jessica Lake on
vocals and Tom Espinola on mandolin, so come for the food and stay for the
music.  We'll be playing 8-11pm and as always, a $5 cover gets you a free
drink or dessert.

On Saturday, May 16th Joe Uehlein, John Penovich, and myself will be playing a
couple of day time sets on Joe's porch in Takoma Park.  We'll throw down some
mostly acoustic tunes during a couple of sets between 2pm and 6pm at 11 Pine
Avenue in Takoma Park.  See the website below for details.

On Saturday May 30th, the Cravin' Dogs will be debuting at AMP By Strathmore
up in North Bethesda.  It's our first time in the great new venue and we're
excited to rock the place out.  Joining the Dogs will be the Oxymorons, and
I'll be pulling double shift - playing with both bands.  You'll get a full
dose of barrybass this night so don't miss it!

Then on Sunday May 31st the U-Liners will be playing at the Washington Folk
Festival at Glen Echo Park.  We're playing a 45 minute set at 2pm on the
Crystal Pool stage.  The Folk Fest is always free, and always a fun time.
