I find it interesting though, that of 186 tea party candidates nationwide? All are Republican candidates. The majority of organizations that rally around the tea party and help organize the events are conservative organizations and leaders (such as Dick Army and Freedomworks). Can we really chalk it up to coincidence and claim that The Tea Parties are non-partisan groups?
While they may be moving more towards (back to) the fiscal concern, they are picking candidates who often seem as prone to running on social/religious concerns as anything else. Granted, that seems to damage some candidates more than others. I suspect the only reason Sharon Angle is where she is in the polls is due to how much people hate Reid.
