I am trying to wrap my head around people recommending to folks that they watch instantly movies they should already OWN. ;)

But my understanding is that this is Netflix's business model for the
uture, that they intend to eventually eliminate mail delivery
ltogether. They also ostensibly compete with the cable company's
on-demand" service, which offers newer, hotter movies streaming to my
v (albeit at a greater price). I know that the Netflix is beholden to
he studios and their rights-stranglehold, but that doesn't make it
ny more frustrating. Imagine if there was a restaurant that offered
ree refills of their beverages, but *only* if you drank Fanta and
ampico. It would be nice, but the whole time you'd be thinking, "I
ish I could get a Coke."
