The 11" is less than a pound heavier than the iPad. I think hardware has reached a point where we don't necessarily need the fastest specs available for most of what we're doing. It's interesting to explore other directions, like how light & thin we can make the thing. ***I know laptops always run through a cycle like this. At one point smaller was better, then big screens and features and now smaller is resurging. As I said, I prefer a whole computer approach, none of the uber small systems appeal to me...which is kinda sad really, as the tablet PCs are only available small. > The macbook for the same price is a better option IMHO... For what I need, certainly. I don't see myself downgrading to an Air as I need to run development tools. But if I didn't?
