About a year after 9/11 I remember sitting next to a guy on a plane
who was wearing "Muslim Garb", had his Koran open and silently prayed
and read the Koran quietly during the whole trip. I also remember
sitting next to a middle aged white lady shortly thereafter who
clutched her Bible and read and prayed as well. I think they were
probably both afraid of flying and where trying to cope using their
own religion. Nobody took notice of the latter lady, but there sure
were a lot of stares and eyes watching the gentleman sitting next to
me the entire trip. I felt a bit embarrassed for him.

regards,
-Lance
