BTW, should I feel bad that when he started a thread on how to talk about a place nobody wants to visit, people didn't just latch on to congratulate him on the find, but rather tore it apart, I kind of felt a little glee?

Subject: [DADL-OT] poetic?

So my ex-friend recently saw a movie because a lot of "good friends" had recommended it to him -- and he hated the movie, even felt sick while watching it, and so now he says he's begun to doubt their judgment.

I, of course, know this guy well enough that I doubt I would have recommended the film to him. But then, I'm not a "good friend" any more, so he wouldn't have had any reason to trust *my* judgment, would he?
