I am sure all Christians support an end to suffering.  I am sure most Christians
do not support forced euthanasia of the terminally ill and the old as a means,
but there is no argument that such a policy *would* end suffering quite
effectively.

He can rag on Christians all he wants, but he is ignoring the fact that the
details matter.  Simply because some Christians do not support empowering the
government to take control of health care does not mean they support prolonged
suffering.

This whole debate is bullshit.

How do you get that from what he said? It seems to me he simply
wonders why Christians aren't supporting a concept that more or less
embodies Christian principles. I don't see where he's indicating they
shoudl do anything extraordinary.

Well, for one, he supports universal health care.

In his capacity as a comedian, he may not "end" much suffering, but he
certainly relieves it.  :)
