You really wanna go there?  I mean, he might be regarded as a "saint" 
nowadays, but we *are* talking about a guy who was rather friendly to the 
Arian bishops and probably would have preferred that their side won the 
day, instead of the orthodox bishops who ultimately prevailed.

I don't mind that Constantine ordered a meeting of the Empire's bishops. 
I *do* question whether it was wise of him to turn the cross into a 
battlefield totem (dream or no dream), and I *especially* question his 
efforts to have Arius reinstated after he had lost the debate.
