I certainly agree. My concern is that we can "have doubts" about it
until we die, and never really get anything done.

Yes, our salvation is worked out through our personal actions, our
relationship to Christ, and our daily lives. But where there is
opportunity to do good, and indeed to help fulfill some of Christ's
most relevant commands, I believe we have a responsibility to lend our
support if we can. If we choose not to, I believe that on judgement
day, we'll have some 'splainin' to do, and I just don't feel like God
will be interested in the finer points of how our particular economic
system figures into it.
