When I had my kidney-stone attack in August, I didn't think twice about going to the hospital two blocks down the road, and I didn't have to see, much less pay, a single bill afterwards. (Why, I didn't even have to pay for parking -- I just walked there!) And I've taken advantage of the emergency section at that hospital on at least two other occasions -- again, without even seeing, much less paying, any bills. Oh, and the urologist I've seen a few times since the kidney-stone attack hasn't billed me personally, nor have I had to pay for the ultrasound and X-rays that I had in connection with that situation. I think it is a Good Thing that these services are available, and I would support measures to make them available in your country (provided that your country didn't go to the extreme that my own country has gone, in making privately-funded healthcare all but impossible). But I wouldn't *dare* say that anyone who failed to believe in taxpayer funded services of this sort was somehow failing Jesus. -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
