Oh, i don't think he is putting it forth as a serious claim. I think he is making a whimsical jump like I did in college when I came up with the idea of using Genesis 6 as a jumping off point for superheroes...people with super powers were genetic offspring of the Nephelim or some such thing. :)
The Liefeld story just cracked me up. So, just how do we read that verse? :)
