To be fair, everybody is calling it a stomp, so the word is hardly unique to Thom. The real issue here is that while she was perhaps unwise to boldly attempt to publicly upbraid Rand Paul with her sign, she didn't initiate violence, violence was initiated on her. That's where it crossed the line. I would have looked at the sign, smiled, said 'Well played,' and moved along. I don't have to take personal umbrage at every person who has an alternate perspective. This kind of Blue state / Red state vilifying of the opposition bullshit has got to stop. Paul and I come from radically different political perspectives, and yet I consider him one of my closest friends. My politics inform me, they don't define me. God defines me. The rest is mere detail good for extra flavor.
