Words and truth matter.  Just as I dont' think a guy who commits a simple
assualt should be charged or convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, a guy
who puts his foot on someone should not be accused of "stomping" her.

Whether you call it a 'step' or a 'stomp,' the guy was part of a gang of thugs
who physically assaulted a zealous woman whose own attack was limited to the
conceptual. I'm totally fine with this guy earning all the collective grief he's
getting. She was perhaps overproud of her clever little zinger sign and pride
goes before a fall, but the idea there is that God will judge, not some Kentucky
yokels. The fact that he's expecting an apology from her just shows how clueless
he is for his own sins.

The whole thing was overblown, and while she was perhaps naive for thinking she
would be safe delivering her little barb, I'm saddened that any of these
resulted in physical violence. If his point is that she was guilty of conceptual
violence and he was wounded as a result of her criticism of his favorite
candidate, all sympathy is rendered null when he took it to the level of
physical attack.

Also, grow a pair and take a little political disagreement like a man. Sheesh.
What is this guy, twelve?

To be fair I wasn't talking to everybody.  And since when is everybody using a
term the standard for whether it is the correct term to use.  Do you really
think the choice of the word "stomp" was accidental or without motive?
