Well, since mine is done via payroll deduction it seems free, I just pay my co-pays. Their insurance is not free, it is just they have more money. While I am very sympathetic to the argument that if they paid the people an equivalent sum as the banks we could afford as easily, that is still wealth distribution. Two wrongs dont make it right. And I am also happy to sign on to trying to do something about the insane costs. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of nicholas a. evans Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2010 3:26 PM To: DADL (off topic) Subject: Re: [DADL-OT] David Cross on Health Care On Wed, Oct 27, 2010 at 6:24 PM, Mike Findlay <[email protected]> wrote: > And if the banks get free health care, (financially speaking), it is hard for me > to see why we shouldn't get the same, if we got their financial handouts we > could all afford health care).
