Along those same lines, I've been a little bit disappointed in some of the design choices as well. In the original film, all those blue lines appeared to be circuitry of some kind, pulsating energy that flowed through everything and everyone, keeping it all going. In the clips I've seen from the new film, everything looks like real-world stuff with neon lights attached. I don't know if I'm conveying what I mean very well, and it's a subtle difference, but it did make me go, "Awww..." That said, I'm still insanely pumped for this flick, and I so badly want it to be amazing. I've watched the original, I'd guess, more than a hundred times, and have longed for a sequel. The fact that they got most of the original cast back together, and made this a continuation of the story (rather than a reboot, remake, or re-imagining) is perfect. I guess we'll see what this director can do. -- -pcg [email protected] -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
