I recently downloaded some old Nintendo games to the Wii (Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Blaster Master, and Super Bros. 2), and I thought it would be a fun little trip down memory lane. I was *astonished* at how instinctively I played these games, 20 years after they left my life. I knew every jump, every twitch, every pause... all the timing, all the secret passageways, how to defeat the Big Bads. It was truly bizarre.
