Mostly, they dont talk -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of pcg Sent: Friday, October 29, 2010 11:50 AM To: DADL (off topic) Subject: Re: [DADL-OT] The mother list is all a buzz today . . . > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAarOVdF-Uk I wish I could be more excited about this. DA remains one of my All-Time Favorite Bands, but I don't find myself listening to them much these days. "Mr. Beuchner's Dream" was one of my most highly-anticipated albums ever, and when it came out I gave it a couple spins and haven't listened to it since. TST's last solo album left me underwhelmed as well, and I drifted away from the Lost Dogs after Gene died and they seemed to drift in a musical direction that didn't interest me. It's an odd feeling. I'll buy the album, out of loyalty more than anything else. Although, hmmm... I still haven't bought the new Choir album, which would have been unthinkable to me five years ago. (There's another band I love deeply, but which hasn't made an album that truly excited me in, um, twenty years. Twenty years! Day-um.) Also, there's still a mother list? What on *earth* do they talk about? - -pcg [email protected] -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
