Well, one's critical faculties do evolve between the age of eight and adulthood. ;) As I say, having recently re-watched the film, I recognized it's many faults. It's not a good movie, but I do maintain that it's a good *idea* for a movie, and something very cool could be extrapolated from the premise. Of course, I don't care a whit about "scientific inaccuracies," and I think the trippy, abstract, and philosophically ambiguous ending is one of its few assets. (I'm assuming you're referring the film version -- apparently the novelization, the comic-book, and the Read-A-Long record all have different endings.) I also really like the score. -- -pcg [email protected] -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
