In my county, 59k of 131k voters selected straight republican party line
ticket.

That means that everyone running against the republicans for an elected
office, no matter how small has to at a minimum surpass 59k votes.  When
I'm quite certain that the vast majority of those 59k voters would not
have cast a vote for a county judge down at the bottom of the ballot.
