I think impeachment and congressional hearings/investigations of Obama or his administration are a waste of time and stupid from a political standpoint. But the cooperation meme is equally as stupid and a waste of time. It takes two to cooperate and the previous majority showed no interest in cooperation so I see no evidence that they are willing to now. And I seem to recall someone saying a couple years ago that elections have consequences. Certain high ranking Republicans HAVE said their top goal is to make Obama a one term President and some are talking about what they plan to investigate first. I think this is a mistake and those particular Republicans are missing the point of their win. I don't think people elected them because they were hoping they would badger the President with investigations and try and bring him down. Really, they cannot take John McCain's attitude that he gave after the Healthcare debate of "Well, that's it...no more cooperation." BOTH sides are going to be having to be willing to come together and cooperate. The success of the Clinton era was that both sides came together-not spent all their time blocking each other.
