Isnt that a matter of perspective?  IF the Dems refuse to allow them access to
the process and tell them all they can do is go along with whatever the dems
want, that is cooperation?
 
You are just repeating the democratic meme, and in reality the dems have more to
answer for due to their arrogance and refusal to allow the minority a voice.
 
Pelosi changed the house rules to lessen the ability of the minority to
participate…rules the repubs implemented to give the dems a voice.
 
And how long till the Dems demand that they be reinstated?

Well, up to this point?  They *have* been the opposition party.  My point was if
all they do is continue to oppose the President, and offer nothing beyond that?
There is a problem.  The Republicans didn't seem to be running on a real solid
plan... and they didn't really have to.  People were already worked up, so they
just needed to address the frustration with a game plan to come later.  "Cut
spending, cut taxes" is a catch phrase...not a gameplan.  When pressed, the
Republicans have yet to say what spending they would cut or how they would pay
for tax cuts.

Based on the last two years, I have little faith that they are going to improved
the situation...but I am perfectly happy to be surprised.
