You are just repeating the democratic meme, and in reality the dems have more to answer for due to their arrogance and refusal to allow the minority a voice.
Pelosi changed the house rules to lessen the ability of the minority to participate…rules the repubs implemented to give the dems a voice.

Well, up to this point? They *have* been the opposition party. My point was if all they do is continue to oppose the President, and offer nothing beyond that? There is a problem. The Republicans didn't seem to be running on a real solid plan... and they didn't really have to. People were already worked up, so they just needed to address the frustration with a game plan to come later. "Cut spending, cut taxes" is a catch phrase...not a gameplan. When pressed, the Republicans have yet to say what spending they would cut or how they would pay for tax cuts.
Based on the last two years, I have little faith that they are going to improved the situation...but I am perfectly happy to be surprised.
