Dissing Republicans? My "higher standards"? That's not my standard...that's Paul's standard. Any Democrat claiming to be a Christian falls into "my higher standard" (which, again, is not *my* higher standard, but whatever) as well. And THAT is the logical extrapolation of my comment.

Yup. It was inferred in my statement. Note, that my statement didn't say Republicans are called to that higher standard...I said "if you call yourself a Christian..." You may have been thinking Republicans... I was thinking of people who call themselves Christians. My statement applies to both sides. And again-it isn't my higher standard.
