That might be true of the supporting toys, at least in this film.  Woody
has always been more devoted to Andy, though.  (TS1 was, of course,
motivated entirely by Woody's jealousy of Buzz Lightyear and his fear that
Buzz might become Andy's favorite instead.)

**sure.  But had Andy not put Woody in the College box, we don't know how hard
he would have been driven to return home for the attic box.

predetermined.  Had Andy gone another route, the movie would have likewise taken
a different route.

**and isn't it telling that Woody elected to try and stay with the others in the
end?  He knew he would not be a toy in college, he would not be played with and
loved, he would be a decoration.  In the end he chose to keep his toyness.
