Re: Reject the Welfare/Warfare State

My impression isn't that companies can't hire because they don't have  
the money.  Many companies are awash in cash.  The problem is they  
don't have demand for their products and services thus investment in  
new jobs is not a good use of their money.  Now with the FED's recent  
actions, raw material costs are going up dramatically and they will  
either have to pass it on to what customers they do have in higher  
prices, or they will have to absorb it in margin compression (i.e.  
more layoffs).

It is inconceivable how the Fed's actions can be sold as trying to  
create jobs.  It is so absurd on it's face that I'm inclined to  
believe there are alternative unsaid reasons for their actions.
