In my mind, by attending as a regular schmoe, Chuck demonstrated his love
for them as his friends without explicitly endorsing their union (which our
mutual minister friend felt was premature). In the end, I think Chuck
demonstrated more agape love than I did at that time.

Granted, all these things are judgment calls, however, I think his solution
was more loving than mine was. When it comes down to it, I'd rather be known
for erring on the side of love.
