He does come across as one at times.

Incidentally, do you follow the Libertas site at all?  That's where Nolte 
got his start, under the moniker "Dirty Harry", but he had some sort of 
falling out with them a few years ago, so Libertas shut down entirely and 
he started a personal blog called This Is Dirty Harry's Place.  (Well, 
more accurately, he had started the personal blog a short while *before* 
the falling out, and when he and Libertas went their separate ways, he 
moved all his movie commentary over to the personal blog.)  Several months 
later, Breitbart hired him to start Big Hollywood, and the rest, as they 
say, is history ... and then, a few months ago, Libertas went back online 
too, and as far as I can tell, the two sites never mention each other. 
(Libertas also took Sylvester Stallone to task for *claiming* The 
Expendables was a patriotic movie, noting that there were all sorts of 
criticisms of the U.S. in there, whereas Nolte was all rah-rah for it -- 
perhaps, as you say, because he looked for party affiliation first and 
figured if Stallone was selling it on Fox News, it must be good.)
