He watched it all in five days. (His wife watched it all in two!) I told him that everyone I know had the same reaction to "Serenity," but it may grow on him, as it did me. **not everyone. I find the film easier to watch in some ways. Regarding the film, he says: "The doctor seemed like a way different character. Also, for 14 episodes they all just escaped death, but Wash was never in too much danger. Then they killed him. Stupid. I wish Inara died, right after Mall confessed his love for her. That's how I'm pretending it ended." Another convert. :) **mal never really confessed his love necessarily. No more than on the series. And in the series Inara's feelings for him were far more evident to the audience. **as for wash, that is really not true either. Wash was in danger several times, when the ship was in danger. Still, I was sorry he and book both had to die, it felt like seeing family die. And I still think the this Inara derangement is misplaced. -- dadl-ot mailing list http://mail.thehood.us/mailman/listinfo/dadl-ot_thehood.us http://news.gmane.org/gmane.music.dadl.ot
