I've never seen any stats brought forward to show how effective it's been in the states which have had it on the books already. And I've largely ignored it (as I suspect most other drivers are also doing), because I hate bluetooth earpieces and I don't have a bluetooth stereo adapter + car dock in the budget just yet. I doubt the law from the article could pass nationwide. It's just too absurd and extreme.
