Yes.  The modern hyper sensitivity direct implies that you have a right against
offense, and it is patently absurd, particularly in that it is not consistently
applied.  Some people have a greater right against offense.

I think his point is that the comment, "I'm offended," in and of
itself, is essentially irrelevant. Nobody has a right to never be
offended, and nobody has a responsibility to not be offensive. In
other words, if you're offended, you're going to need to explain why
that should be relevant to anyone other than you.
