It sounds like you're basing your opinion of the film on how well it matches
up to the book on which it is based. That rarely bodes well.

I'm viewing the Narnia films strictly on the basis of what I see on the
screen, and liked Prince Caspian more than CoN:LWW.

But we've been through this before.  ;)
