And can you imagine being that child's *father* and standing there as the 
minimum-wage hacks explore the child's body?

Oh, really?  And here I thought millions of people were being violated so 
that other people could "feel safe".

(Does millions seem like an exaggeration?  Well, the authorities -- I 
forget if it was the White House or just the TSA -- recently said that the 
patdowns had been performed on only one half of one percent of the 34 
million people who travelled by air last week.  In other words, the 
authorities admitted that 170,000 people had been fondled by TSA agents 
*just last week*.  Assuming a constant rate of travel -- which, given the 
impending holiday season, I would *not* assume -- and assuming no increase 
in the percentage of patdowns -- which, given that this procedure is in 
the early stages of its roll-out, I *also* would not assume -- that means 
it would take only six weeks to fondle the one millionth passenger.  And 
we're already about half-way into the first six weeks, now, yes?)
