I quite like the Muppets version with John Denver, but I can't say it
appears on any of my other favorite Christmas albums.

This year Patience made a homemade fruitcake from scratch, as kind of
an experiment, to see if anyone would eat it. It was *fantastic.* We
have about 20 people at our annual tree-trimming party, and they were
unanimously demanding that she make the fruitcake a yearly tradition.
:)

(She used Alton Brown's recipe, which incorporates a fair amount of
both rum and brandy, so that may have had something to do with it. And
topped with a bit of mascarpone cheese... mmmm...)
