I saw the 2002 restoration on one of my first dates with D, and that, at the time, was supposed to be as "complete" as anyone could hope for ... and one of my e-pals says the new version doesn't add all *that* much to the movie. But if all you knew was the versions that were available in the '80s or '90s, then either of these restorations would be a revelation.
