Some? How many attacks of terrorism have actually been committed by whites? And whites can be profiled, just in different ways. But the real issue, is what is so wrong with profiling in the first place? No, certain measures are in place to *pretend* to reduce that risk. *Actual* risk-reduction would require profiling, etc. But apparently the right of certain minorities or whatever to not be asked extra questions trumps *everyone's* right to privacy and a modicum of dignity. It's an easy stand to take when one is part of the one group that never has to face profiling. I am never going to get pulled aside for my race. Even though some folks in Al Queda are white.
