Yes.  One of Michael Moore's first posts after the 9/11 attacks included a 
bizarre passage where he speculates that the terrorists were trying to get 
back at Bush, and we wonders why they would have attacked NYC when NYC had 
mostly voted *against* Bush.  (The possibility that the terrorists might 
have been upset by NYC's vote for Gore seems to have escaped him.)
