list traffic (was: The Partisan Mind)

In 2009, we had 63MB on both this list and the mother list combined; in 
the first half of 2010 alone, we had almost 43MB (based on over 4600 
messages), and so far in the second half of 2010 (with one month to go) we 
have over 5800 messages.  (According to my archives, anyway.)

Going back a bit further, I see that we had 89MB on both lists combined in 
2008, which is more than 2009 but probably less than 2010.

And we had 62MB in 2007.

And we had 79MB in 2006.

And we had 67MB in 2005.

And we had 69MB in 2004.

And we had 78MB in 2003.

And we had 86MB in 2002.

And we had 117MB in 2001.

And in the years prior to that, I had a different method of archiving my 
e-mails, so I'm not sure it's worth comparing the numbers.

Keeping in mind that each of the figures I've cited above consists of 
*both* the DADL-OT and the DADL mother list *combined*.  So if we had a 
heck of a lot more traffic in 2001 than we did in later years, that might 
be due to the release of Mr Buechner's Dream and the discussion thereof on 
the mother list, rather than increased activity in the DADL-OT.
