Yes, we can all agree the world is a shitty place and it sucks that governments are dirty and use such tactics. But I think if I have to choose between having my government play nice all the time and in turn be the worlds biggest patsy and victim, i would prefer my government play the game on the same field as the others. I think a certain measure of accountability is served here. But I am extremely reluctant to give this a whole hearted back slap when depending on what they release the consequences could be grim. I have close friends still serving. People like Assange do not give a rats ass about the fact that my friends are serving honorably, they just want to hurt the US and the military.
