Well, my wife was dealing with him.

And I was *supposed* to go into town to attend a screening tonight as soon 
as she got home from work ... so I arguably shouldn't even *be* here right 
now ... but when I started seeing negative reviews of that film earlier 
today, I decided I'd rather just stay home and see the film at our local 
theatre when it opens on Friday ... because then I could be home for the 
kids' bedtime tonight (which was a couple hours ago).

But bedtime wasn't as peaceful or cooperative as it has tended to be these 
last few days, and now he's sounding cranky again ... so, sigh, maybe I 
should have gone out after all.
