But, seriously, the UID can be used as a "super cookie", but otherwise
it's harmless. It's the information that you give the app that can be
attached to the UID that is revealing. I'm having a hard time thinking
of an app that I gave *anything* other than a username.

As for location, iOS automatically asks the user's permission the
first time an app asks for your location. Just decline and delete the
app if the app has no real reason for having that information in the
first place.
