I, for one, wouldn't mind a little more detail here.  How does one get 
from 1948 to 2011?  That's a gap of 63 years -- is it supposed to be 70 
minus 7 or something?  If so, where does *that* come from?  If not, then 
what *other* numeric principle is being employed here?

BTW, remember how Pat Robertson predicted, back in the early '90s, that 
the end of the world might come in 2007 -- because it was 40 years after 
the Six-Day War and 400 years after the founding of the Jamestown 
settlement (and thus 400 years after the "birth" of America)?
