So do we know anything about this particular store? A trend in car thefts or assaults that would justify it? Honestly this scares me not at all. Seems odd and a waste of an officer's time if they do man them with police officers as opposed to other guards. Seems to make police into store security guards. (Over the top security guards, at that.) Do they have a problem with car theft or something?
