I have recently used sidestep.com -- it gives prices from a few different 
sites.  I purchased from Oritz once, but I tend to find out the price from those 
sites, then go directly to Airtran (well, before they discontinued my route) and 
Delta to actually purchase the ticket.

Patience is graduating with her LPN in March, and we're going to fly
her mother up from Florida for the pinning ceremony. Has anyone ever
used any of the online travel-discount sites like Orbitz, Priceline,
Travelocity, Hotwire, etc.? I've never used one, and I'm poking around
for advice.

Ideally, what I'd like is something where I can enter the dates and
destinations, and have the site "watch" prices for me, and notify me
when there's a discounted fare. Anybody have any recommendations?
