I listen to the Adam Carolla podcast every day. Trust me, they use both, and
"murdered" is not an infrequent term. But we're just splitting hairs. :)

Do you seriously believe that? Do you think you could explain that to the family
of Theo Van Gogh, the Dutch film director who was shot eight times, stabbed, and
partially decapitated explicitly because he dared criticise Islamic sacred
texts?

*Any* religious imagery or language can be dangerous. That's what makes it so
powerful.
