Why?< I just watched it on netflix Tuesday night. I've had heard rumblings that it wasn't a true documentary but hadn't investigated what that really meant. I'm wondering if that is the widely accepted take on it in the film world. I enjoyed it and learned some stuff, (Shepard Fairey being the artist who did the Obama poster - he just settled with AP incidentally-and that I really like much of street art), but as it went on I took it as the Spinal Tap for the art/street art scene. But I thought it was very well done, it pulled me in and kept me watching even as I began to become convinced it couldn't be real. I don't know how much of that realization was prompted by the rumblings I had heard prior to seeing the movie, but I'd like to believe I would have been skeptical of it even if I hadn't heard said rumblings.
